Kingston University offers a diverse and supportive environment across multiple campuses, each with its own unique charm, while being within easy reach of Central London and all its attractions.
Kingston Hill
Kingston Hill is a beautiful, leafy site with a mix of modern and historic buildings and a community feel.
The campus boasts a cafe, restaurant, halls of residence, multi-use gaming area, table-tennis tables and an outdoor fitness trail. The learning resources centre includes a cafe, group learning rooms and bookable meeting pods.
This campus is home to Kingston Business School, including a new business incubation space called the Nest. We are also one of only a few universities in the UK to have a real-time Bloomberg trading room.
The Frank Lampl building has a wide range of practical facilities, simulations suites, lecture theatres and teaching spaces for health and social care students.
The Visconti Studio (created with legendary record producer Tony Visconti) is also located on this campus, as well as a large performance studio, five recording studios and two Mac labs.
Roehampton Vale
Our Roehampton Vale campus just a short bus ride from Kingston town centre and within walking distance of Richmond Park and Wimbledon Common.
Our labs include a composite material fabrication lab and have facilities including materials testing equipment, rapid prototyping machinery and computer-aided simulation technologies. We also have the latest CFD, CAM and CAD software, plus an embedded system laboratory with National Instruments equipment. The learning resources centre includes engineering-specific resources and databases, as well as a cafe.
Penrhyn Road
Kingston Students’ Union is based here, as are the fitness and health centres. This means that students from all our campuses use this site from time to time.
We have invested significantly in the Penrhyn Road campus, which is home to the landmark Town House building. Nearby, you’ll find the £20 million John Galsworthy building as well as the Eadweard Muybridge and main buildings, which house lecture theatres and teaching spaces.
We have completed a major project to transform the main building at our Penrhyn Road campus, enhancing it for students, staff, and the wider community. The refurbishment spans approximately 4,000 square metres and creates modern social, learning, and collaboration spaces.
Knights Park
Vibrant, friendly and creative, Knights Park campus is set in a beautiful riverside location, a short walk from Kingston town centre and the Penrhyn Road campus.
The restaurant and bar are right next to the picturesque Hogsmill River, providing a beautiful backdrop for breaks in-between lectures.
Students here all work together in specialist workshops and studios, equipped with the most recent design software programmes. A wide range of art, design and architecture resources, an image database and a large slide collection are all housed in the modern learning resource centre.
The Stanley Picker Gallery, where artists, designers and students present a broad programme of exhibitions and events, is also based here.
